2024-2025 Drop Off/Pick Up Reminder
Be a Good Neighbor
Just a quick reminder to please be courteous to our neighbors. Do not block our neighbors’ driveways or move trash cans. Please do not drop off/pick up students in residents’ driveways. Also, remember that students may not be dropped off or picked up in any of the staff parking lots. Let’s all be courteous to our CVHS neighbors. As construction continues on our field, we understand traffic and parking is a challenge. Give yourself a few extra minutes to minimize those challenges. Please remember this is for the safety of all.

Unless students have a parking pass they are not allowed to park in the Cloud Parking Lot. Students with a parking pass may only park along the wall and must have the pass placed on their dashboard. If there are no parking spaces available along the wall, please do not park in any other parking spaces.
PARENTS, GUARDIANS & STUDENTS
MAKE UP PHOTO DAY is upon us! Monday October 7, 2024 in the cafeteria. Anyone who missed registration days and wants to be included in the yearbook needs to take their photo on make-up day. If you took your photo for your student ID in the health office, this is not the yearbook photo. To be included in the yearbook, you will need to take your photo on make-up day. You can stop by the cafeteria starting 8:30 AM during banking time, snack, or lunch.

SSC: Thank you to all who ran and all who voted for the parent representatives to the CVHS School Site Council. CV is indeed fortunate to have this level of participation in the Council. The election results are as follows (names are in no particular order):
· Representatives (3): Asia Bribiescu-Hedin, Una Chung-Iwasaka, Mike Mayhew
· Alternate Representatives (5): Lena Hill, Joe Yi, Evelyn Lee, Lorena Garcia, Julian Lee
Both representatives and alternates have a voice at all meetings, while only representatives have a vote. Alternates will vote in the absence of representatives. Everyone is welcome to attend; SSC is a public meeting.
The first meeting of the 24-25 CVHS School Site Council was Monday, September 30 at 3:45 in the CVHS Career Center. The CVHS School Site Council met on September 30. The minutes of that meeting can be found here. The next meeting will be held on October 28.
If you have any questions, please email Anne Reinhard at areinhard@gusd.net.

ELAC: The first CVHS English Learner Advisory Committee meeting will be held Wednesday, October 9 at 6:30 pm in the CVHS WellNest. There will be translators at the meeting.
