CA Scholarship Federation (CSF)

Welcome to the California Scholarship Federation chapter of CVHS

The California Scholarship Federation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to recognize and encourage academic achievement and community service among high school students in California.

 

CSF is honored to award 15 scholarships for 2025 totaling $4,300 ! Thank you to all of our members for your help with fundraising – it would not have been possible without you!

Make sure to maintain active member status & turn in your biannual dues to earn this regalia!

  • High Honors Lifetime Sealbearer  (7 active semesters): Gold chord with HH medallion, gold tassel, gold seal on diploma, CSF HHLS certificate
  • Lifetime Sealbearer (4 active semesters, 10th grade through one semester 12th grade): Gold chord, gold tassel, gold seal on diploma, CSF LS certificate
  • Senior Officer: Gold stole (plus earned regalia above)

 

Awards:

  • Life Membership (Sealbearer status): Active CSF membership for at least four semesters (not including Associate Membership*). One of those four semesters must be earned with senior grades

Article V, Section I: “A student completing senior high school work in 5 or 6 semesters (not including grade 9) must earn  CSF membership in at least 4 of the last 5 or 6 semesters; one of those semester memberships must  be earned with senior grades. (Grades earned in the final semester, just before graduation, may be  used to meet this requirement.)”

  • High Honors: Active CSF membership for at least seven semesters (not including Associate Membership*). One of those four semesters must be earned with senior grades.

 

Note:

*Associate members shall be second semester ninth graders and first semester tenth graders whose  grades meet CSF requirements, or junior high transfers in their first semester of attendance who are  Honor Members of the California Junior Scholarship Federation.

  • Members must apply every semester using their previous semester report card
  • New members are welcome! If you did not apply for a particular semester (or did not qualify), you are welcome to apply the following semester. Keep your grades up, and come join us as we serve our community.
