College and Career Fairs

The California State University (CSU), University of California (UC) and Association of Independent California College and Universities (AICCU)  provide college fairs.

The Glendale Unified School District College and Career Division website will publish newsletters and maintain information about college rep visits as well as UC, CSU and Common App application workshops.

The Glendale Unified School District hosts an annual College and Career Fair each fall. Please check the www.gusd.net website for more information. The 2022 GUSD College Fair will be hosted on Saturday, October 15th, 2022. More information and links will be posted in the CVHS weekly bulletin and the GUSD College Career website as it becomes available.

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) will host College Fairs this fall. Different colleges and universities will be available at each event.  Register in advance or get more information on the NACAC website.

This fall, campuses are offering a variety of events for prospective students, including events for first-year, transfer and out-of-state/international applicants. Each campus continues to work closely with state, federal and local agencies to ensure the safety of the campus and community. Therefore, events may be offered in-person or virtually and could change depending on current guidelines. Be sure to check with the campus for more information on the full schedule and format of events as well as registration information.

Campuses may offer a range of virtual opportunities, including college fairs, appointments, admissions sessions, tours and videos on admission, housing and/or financial aid and scholarships. Some will be hosted in person, while others will be offered virtually. Programming for counselors, students and families will be available.

  • UC Berkeley: Open House, October 8; programming throughout September and October
  • UC Davis: Open House, October 3–31; programming for counselors, families and students offered throughout the fall quarter
  • UC Irvine: Discover UCI Preview Day, October 15
  • UCLA: Fall Open House, Saturday, October 8 (in person); recorded presentations available
  • UC Merced: Discover UC Merced virtual series, beginning September to November 2022
  • UC Riverside: Discover UCR Day. October 22 (in person).
  • UC San Diego: Fall Showcase, October 1st; additional virtual programming throughout September, October and November
  • UC Santa Barbara: Virtual programming throughout October and November
  • UC Santa Cruz: Fall Spotlight (in person), Saturday, November 5; virtual workshops throughout September, October and November
