We are excited to welcome our students and families back to Crescenta Valley High School as we begin a new semester. A fresh semester brings new opportunities for growth, learning, connection, and setting goals. We encourage students to start strong, stay organized, ask for help when needed, and continue supporting one another as a caring and inclusive school community.
Lost and Found
Our lost and found bin (located outside the library) is overflowing. Please claim your belongings by next week, as all remaining items are headed to charity.
Parking
During school hours, our lots are reserved for staff. After school, please park in designated areas or on the street. Cars parked illegally may be cited and or towed at the owners expense.
Attendance
A reminder to parents to please clear your student’s absences. Unexcused absences (truancies) may lead to disciplinary action, and students may not be allowed to make up missed work. |
We continue to enjoy and cheer for all of our Falcons at athletic events, competitions, and in the classroom. |
We're pleased to announce that we will once again host the Holocaust Survivor speaker series on January 29, 2026. We are, again, working with retired teacher, David Meyerhoff, to bring firsthand accounts from survivors of the holocaust to share their stories and learn from this tragic moment in our history. All of our 10th grade students will have the opportunity to hear from the survivors during their history classes.

Unfortunately, the way community service hours were submitted and tracked in the past has encountered a technical issue, and the data that was collected cannot be retrieved. We understand this is frustrating and concerning for students and families who relied on that system.
To help remedy the situation, from January 2026 through the end of the school year in June 2026, we will be using a paper-based process so students can re-report the hours they have completed and any additional hours earned this year. Paper forms will be available in the library and on the school website. Please use this LINK to print forms at home.
Please note:
- Hours completed before January 2026 do NOT require a supervisor’s signature.
- Hours completed during and after January 2026 WILL require a supervisor’s signature.
- All completed forms should be turned in to Mrs. Gay in the library. We strongly encourage students to take a photo of the completed form for their own records.
We are actively working on a new and improved digital system for tracking community service hours and will share details with the school community once it is ready to launch.
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Gay at rgay@gusd.net or Ms. Papazyan at npapazyan@gusd.net. |
