Your input is important to help develop a Facilities Master Plan- Rosemont Middle School - Tonight! 6:00 PM

Posted Date: 12/04/25 (11:40 AM)

Good morning GUSD Community, Staff, Students and Families,

As part of Glendale Unified School District’s commitment to maintaining the quality of education, the District regularly develops districtwide Facilities Master Plans (FMP) to identify all school facilities needs—including classrooms, building systems, educational technology, playgrounds, sustainability, safety and security.

Glendale Unified School District is currently engaged in a comprehensive effort to create a new Facilities Master Plan for 2025-2035. The 2025-2035 FMP will identify the needs for our schools and support facilities including modernization and renovation projects, new construction, and building reconfigurations. The plan will ensure that students, educators, and the Glendale Community will have a long-term road map to plan for informed investments in school facilities for the next decade.

We invite all GUSD staff to help shape the future of our campuses and learning environments by attending an upcoming regional Facility Master Plan Community Engagement Meeting or taking a few minutes to complete a web-based survey.

At the regional sessions, you will:

  • Learn about findings from recent districtwide facility assessments

  • Explore goals for creating modern, inclusive learning environments

  • Review past facility projects

  • Share your priorities for building safer, more sustainable, and future-ready schools

Your professional insight is essential! Your feedback helps guide how we improve school sites, enhance instructional spaces, and support the daily teaching and learning experience across the district.

Meeting Schedule (All sessions take place from 6:00–7:00 p.m.) - attend one that meets your schedule - we are looking for feedback for all sites at each session:

  • November 19 – Crescenta Valley High School Cafeteria

  • November 20 – Roosevelt Middle School Auditorium

Can’t Attend? We still want to hear from you.

Kind regards,

Bill
