As we head into November, I want to take a moment to recognize Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11. This important day honors the bravery, sacrifice, and service of our nation’s veterans, those who have dedicated their lives to protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day. In observance of Veterans Day, there will be no school on Tuesday, November 11. I encourage everyone to take a moment that day to reflect, give thanks, or show appreciation to a veteran in your life or community.
This past week, our campus came together to celebrate Solidarity Week, and I couldn’t be prouder of our students and staff. The energy, empathy, and inclusion demonstrated throughout the week truly embody what it means to be a Falcon. Thank you to all who participated, helped organize, and made the week meaningful for our community.
Congratulations to the Cross Country Team, as CV SWEPT league finals this past Thursday. Every team won their race! It was a very exciting meet for the Falcons!
Congratulations to the CV Marching Band who earned 1st place in Division 5a at the Gahr Invitational yesterday. They also earned Hgh Percussion and High Visual!
Looking ahead, our Student Senate will meet on Friday, November 14, during Period 2 in the cafeteria. This is a great opportunity for student representatives to share ideas and collaborate on ways to make CVHS an even better place for everyone.
Thank you, Falcons, for continuing to show pride, respect, and care for one another. It’s always a great day to be a Falcon!
