Tryouts Dates: June 16–20, 2025 (5 days)

Who Can Attend:

Required:

Only the Release of Liability form is required for participation in tryouts. This must be submitted on the first day. https://cvhs.gusd.net/15001_3 If selected for a team, additional forms will be requested.

The 2025 Talon Yearbook

is scheduled to arrive the last week of June.

We are offering free autograph insert pages for you to gather signatures before the end of the school year. For seniors, they will be available at the senior sunset event and for any other member of the CV student body, you can swing by room 5101 any day at snack to retrieve yours. One per student please and you must pick up for yourself only.

We only have 170 more books available for preorder. If you have not purchased yours yet, you may secure one by purchasing online at

The deadline to purchase is Friday June 20, 2025 or until the remaining 170 are purchased. You can only purchase online and not at the student store.

There is a slight chance that we will receive some extra books upon delivery. If so, we will offer cash sales on the distribution day. There will be no waitlist.

Reminder, the 2025 Talon Yearbook was not included in the senior package. This was announced a myriad of times throughout the school year during homeroom and was posted in bulletins and bi-weekly emails as well as the Talon Yearbook page on the school website.

Congratulations to all of our graduating seniors and their families!

• All graduating seniors must attend graduation rehearsal on June 11th at 9:00 am. All students should meet in the gym. Students must be back in the gym by 4:45 in the

afternoon.

• Graduation is on Wednesday, June 11th at 5:30 on CV’s Osborne Field. The gate will open at 4:00 for seating. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.

• Please do not bring noise makers or air horns, bouquets of balloons or anything else that will block the views of others.

• Please be aware that parking and traffic may be a challenge and allow extra time.

• Each student will receive 6 free tickets for guests. Graduating seniors do not need a ticket. Up to 5 additional tickets may be purchased at the student store for $15 each-cash only please.

• The ceremony is expected to last approximately one and a half hours.

• Students will pick up their diplomas immediately following the ceremony in the gym.

• Diplomas that were not claimed at the ceremony will be available starting June 12th in the office. • Handicap parking is currently full. All spaces have been pre-assigned.

• Bronson Photography will be taking photos of each student. Photos may be purchased by going to bit.ly/3H9zmTC .

• The ceremony will be live-streamed so that loved-ones who are unable to attend can watch. To access the livestream go to https://www.gusd.net/graduation .

The Filipino-American Business Association of Glendale (FABAG-GLAC) is celebrating their 35th anniversary and relaunching their "Gift of Education Grant Awards Program"!

�� AWARDS CEREMONY: Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Phoenicia Restaurant
