Welcome Week 2026!!

Message from the Assistant Principals

As we kick off another exciting year at Crescenta Valley High School, we can't wait to see our returning students and welcome our incoming 9th graders to campus!

Welcome Week (August 11–14) is an essential first step to ensure your student is completely ready for day one.

During their assigned time slot, students will:

Take their school ID photos in the Cafeteria.
Pick up textbooks and exchange or collect Chromebooks in the library.
Set up their school locker using the Locker App.
Visit the Student Store to purchase PE clothes, ASB Falcon Passes, and spirit wear.

Tuesday, Aug 11: Seniors (8:30–11:30 AM) | Special Populations: SpEd, EL, Band (12:30–3:30 PM)
Wednesday, Aug 12: 11th Grade (8:30–11:30 AM) | 10th Grade (12:30–3:30 PM)
Thursday, Aug 13: 9th Grade A–L (8:30–11:30 AM) | 9th Grade M–Z (12:30–3:30 PM)
Friday, Aug 14: All Grades Make-Up Session (8:30–11:30 AM)

Please enter through the main entrance on Community Avenue and remember to bring a sturdy backpack to carry your textbooks home. We are looking forward to an incredible year together. We Are CV!

College & Career Center News

The CVHS College & Career Center is located inside the CV Library. Students may join the CCC Google Classroom for additional information and resources using the join code: an4rsbpw.

Welcome back from the CCC staff.

Mrs. Karen Bomar is the Career Technical Education (CTE) Counselor and Glendale Community College Dual Enrollment counseling liaison
Ms. Merrick Hoel is a college adviser from the USC College Advising Corps who is available to help all 12th grade students with the college application process and related services.
Mr. Arthur Tashkesen is a CV Teachers specialist available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and every other Friday.

Students may still enroll in GCC Dual Enrollment or Jump Start courses for the Fall Term which begins August 31st. Students should include kbomar@gusd.net as the CV Counselor in Step 2 of the registration process.

GUSD College & Career Fair- Oct 10th: GUSD is still recruiting career and college exhibitors for the fair. Please register using the QR code on the attached flyer, if interested, or contact Mrs. Bomar.
