As we enter the final week of the school year, my heart is filled with an overwhelming sense of pride. This Thursday, June 11, our halls will feel a little quieter, but the world is about to get a whole lot brighter as you walk across the graduation stage.
You have accomplished so many amazing things during your time as Falcons. You’ve truly lived by your class motto—reminding us all that YOLO means taking risks, chasing dreams, and making every single moment count.
I am so deeply proud of this graduating class. As you step out into the big world to see what's waiting for you, remember that you always have a home here. No matter where your journey takes you, you'll be in my heart. Congratulations, graduates!
It's Great to be a Falcon! |
As we reach the final stretch of the school year, the energy on our campus is absolutely electric. From major academic milestones to national competitions, our Falcons are finishing strong.
Our seniors recently went to Grad Night at California Adventure, celebrating their incredible high school journey together and making memories that will last a lifetime. The celebrations continued at home as our African American and Black graduating students were recognized this week during a beautiful and memorable event in the district board room. We are so proud of your achievements and the legacy you are leaving at CV!
Additionally, some of our talented Academy students traveled to Atlanta to compete on the national stage at SkillsUSA. A massive congratulations to Alex Wilson, Stephen Jung, and Esther Park, who brought home the Gold Medal in Natural Resources! Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off, and you have represented Crescenta Valley High School with the highest level of excellence.
As students wrapped up their final projects and exams, our amazing teachers kept energy high with fun, innovative end-of-year activities. Classrooms were buzzing with creativity, featuring edible books (where literature met culinary art!), high-energy review games, and collaborative posters and team challenges. Congratulations to all of our students and staff for wrapping up the year with such incredible energy and success!

Congratulations Class of 2026! You made it!
Here are some important things to remember for the Big Day on June 11th.
There is a mandatory rehearsal on June 11th at 9:00 am! - Report to the gym promptly at 9:00 am-BE ON TIME!
- When you arrive at the gym, find your assigned seat. The seating assignments will be sent out to you on June 10th. If you forget, there will be a QR code in the gym so that you can check your assignment.
- We will run through the entire ceremony so that you will know exactly what to do at the real event.
- You do not need to bring anything with you except your phone and a bottle of water if you wish. Wear sunscreen and a hat. We will be in the sun for quite a while.
- You will be handed your 6 complimentary tickets at the rehearsal. If you purchased extra tickets, they will be given to you immediately after rehearsal.
- Handicap passes will also be given out at that time.
The Night of the Event: - Be in the Gym by 5:00 pm.
- Carry your gown, do not wear it.
- You will be checked as you enter the gym to be sure that you did not bring any inappropriate items and to see that you are dressed appropriately. School dress code applies.
- DO NOT wear shoes with pointy heels! You will not be allowed to walk on the field with pointy heels of any kind. They will damage our beautiful new field.
- You do not need to bring a water bottle. Water will be provided in the gym.
- We will walk out of the gym promptly at 6:00 with or without you.
- When the ceremony ends, you will be led off the field by the line leaders. You can find your family after we all exit together.
- Your actual diploma will not be in the folder that you are handed.
- You will need to go to the gym immediately after the ceremony to pick up your diploma. Find your counselor based on your last name to get your diploma.
- You are now officially a high school graduate! Go out and do great things!
Congratulations! |
