GCC Dual Enrollment and Jump Start

Dual Enrollment courses are a collaboration with GUSD and GCC. Courses taken in the Fall or Spring are designated courses that receive both high school and community college credit per GUSD policy. Please follow this link for more information about course offerings and enrollment procedures.

Please note: Summer School Dual Enrollment courses will not receive high school credits on the CV transcript but students will still earn college credits for any courses completed. 

Jump Start courses are offered via the Glendale Community College campus. Students do not earn high school credit for these courses. 

CVHS counselors will approve Fall Dual Enrollment or Jump Start courses beginning the last week of July after returning from summer break. 

Students should request approval for any summer courses prior to the end of the current school year.
